The unique design of Rock The Future challenges the traditional boundaries between science, technology, and ecology. The walls of the center mimic the morphology of mountains, dissolving the contradiction between these categories. The reception counter, model display station, and water bar continue the wall's design language, with each functional area resembling an independent hill of varying heights. This design approach creates a visually stunning and unique expression.
The lobby of Rock The Future features sinuous walls that take the shape of cliffs, symbolizing the dynamic nature of abstract geometric lines in science and technology. The irregular line surface is composed of four different materials: white paint, gray paint, mirror stainless steel, and black sandblasted stainless steel. This combination adds depth and a cool aesthetic to the overall design.
Spanning an area of 1,000 square meters, Rock The Future is divided into various functional areas, including a reception counter, model display station, recreation area, water bar, and VIP room. These spaces are carefully designed to provide a seamless experience for visitors, combining modern innovation, dynamic vitality, and a sense of tranquility and comfort.
The Rock The Future project began in November 2016 and was completed in March 2018, both in Shenzhen. The design team, led by Honglei Liu from BLVD International, aimed to create a space that represents the future of South China's entrepreneurship and innovation. By integrating science, technology, and nature, the sales center inspires visitors to dream big and turn their aspirations into reality.
Rock The Future has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2019 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award recognizes designs that are well-designed, practical, and innovative, meeting professional and industrial requirements. The Rock The Future sales center stands out for its ability to integrate industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and a positive impact on the world.
